Vibration-Resistant Quarter-Turn Latch
for Railway Applications - 18 mm

Vibration-resistant quarter-turn latch for use with railway applications with insert DB standard. The fastener is vibration-resistant to prevent unintentional opening. Universal clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation when opening / closing.

Protection degree IP65* is achieved by an O-ring on the insert and a flat gasket on the housing.

*=also classed "Waterproof according to NEMA 4".

Example: Housing - chrome plated A=28 B=4, zinc nut, insert Deutsche Bahn - chrome plated, IP65-assembled, cam H=22 mm L= 45 mm = P/N 2412-230250-2245.

  • Housing and insert: Zinc die-cast, chrome plated or black texture powder coated.
  • Nut: Zinc die-cast, zinc plated.
  • Cam: Steel, zinc plated.

TUF = Assembled with TUF-loc to achieve DIN EN 61373.
